ABOUT OUR ANNUAL EVENT

The Victorian Country Series

On August the 13th & 14th 2022, the Wimmera Kart Racing Club hosted Round 4 of the DPE Victorian Country Series. It was a very special event on our new track and new lap records were set! 174 Drivers, their family & friends took part in this celebration to welcome our new upgraded circuit.

Many great karter's competed at our Horsham circuit such as.…. Jamie Whincup, Cameron Waters, Nick Percat, Scott Pye, Todd Hazzlewood, Scott Mclaughlin, and Daniel Ricciardo to name just a few, and some of them have done work experience at Remo Racing right here in Horsham and took part in chassis development on this very track with the iconic brand Monaco GP Karts from its home town of Horsham.

The Victorian Country Series is a 6 round series with huge prize pools with as much as $50,000 worth of prizes & random draws up for grabs, and is also one of Australia's largest series.

Its our clubs only open event of the year where over 200 karters from as far as South Australia to Melbourne compete here annually.

The Series commenced in the early 1990’s as a way for country drivers to regularly race in a competitive environment, without having to travel to the major metropolitan tracks.

The Victorian Country Series has evolved to a point now that the Metropolitan drivers travel to the 6 round events for the tough competition.
