Organised Social Karting
Follow the procedures below
NO PERSONS ARE TO BE ENTERING THE CLUB PREMISES unless a Session or Event has been organised and approved by the Executive Committee and a KAC (Karting Activity Controller) or Level 4 Official is in attendance.
A reminder that ALL PERSONS entering the club premisses are required to comply with Karting Australia requirements.
Updated July 2023
There are still only 2 OPTIONS at the moment if you want to Practice or enter the premises and they revolve around KARTING AUSTRALIA requirements.
THERE IS STRICTLY NO UNREGULATED ENTRY INTO THE WIMMERA CIRCUIT.
If you wish to Practice there must be a Karting Activity Controller or Level 4 Official present and they MUST register for an Organised Social Karting Session with the Club Secretary.
Contact the CLUB SECRETARY HERE if you would like to organise a Social Practice session or have any questions.
Attend a Practice Session:
You attend an Organised Social Karting Session that has been organised by a Karting Activity Controller or a Level 4 Official. The events will be shown on our website homepage and also advertised on our clubs instagram and Facebook pages.
If you intend on attending the Social Karting Session each driver must complete their registration via the Events tab on KOMP (portal.karting.net.au) or via the Karting Australia app before entering the track.
There will be a Karting Activity Controller or a Level 4 KA Official in attendance who will also be the organiser responsible to ensure that the KA guidelines are enforced at the Practice session.
Become a Karting Activity Controller or a Level 4 Official
You can become a Karting Activity Controller or a Level 4 Official and run "your own" Social Karting Session!
Once you have gained your Karting Activity Controller or Level 4 KA Officials Licence, and at least 48 hours before your session, you will need to EMAIL the WKRC SECRETARY firstname.lastname@example.org to register the date and time of your session.
Every driver attending the Social Karting Session must complete their registration via the Events tab on KOMP (portal.karting.net.au) or via the KARTING AUSTRALIA app before entering the track.
On the day that everyone arrives at the track for the Social Karting Session...
You will be the Official on duty responsible to ensure that the KA guidelines are enforced at the Practice session.
Complete the Activation of the session and the Track Safety Check.
You and your club mates are now ready to go! All under the direction of the Official in charge.
