A reminder that ALL PERSONS entering the club premises are required to SCAN the relevant QR CODES displayed at the OUT-GRID on arrival.

Entry into the Wimmera Kart Racing Club premises is only allowed when a Session or Event has been organised and approved by the Executive Committee and a Level 4 Official is in attendance. See the 2 Options here

UPDATED Covid-19 Guidelines by Karting Australia & Government Requirements

as of 3rd JUNE 2021
 

Above are CURRENT NEW COVID-19 GUIDELINES (3 June 2021) for all of Victorian Clubs to follow to ensure we have suitable safety in place for our karting activities.

There are only 2 OPTIONS (see below) at the moment if you want to Practice or enter the premises and they revolve around KARTING AUSTRALIA requirements.

There is strictly  NO ENTRY  into the Wimmera Circuit. If you wish to Practice there must be a LEVEL 4 OFFICER present and they MUST register the for an "Organised Social Karting Session with the Club Secretary. See the only 2 Options below.

OPTION 1 - Attend a session

You attend an Organised Social Karting Session that has been organised by a LEVEL 4 OFFICER. The events will be shown on our website homepage and also advertised on our clubs instagram and Facebook pages.
 

On the day that everyone arrives at the track for the Organised Social Karting Session...
 

  • ALL persons entering the circuit which includes drivers and spectators (mechanic, family etc;) of all ages are to complete the QR code DISPLAYED at the circuit on arrival which covers KA Rules... you can also click here below:

  • There will be an official on duty with at least a LEVEL 4 KA OFFICIALS LICENCE in attendance who will also be the organiser responsible to ensure that the KA guidelines are enforced at the Practice session.
     

  • You and your club mates complete the forms which covers KA rules and you are now ready to go. All under the direction of the official in charge.

       

OPTION 2 - Become a Level 4 Official

You become a LEVEL 4 KA OFFICIAL and run "your own" Social Karting Session! click here to register for the Officials course

 

  • To do this, once you have gained your Level 4 KA officials licence, and at least 48 hours before your session, you will need to EMAIL the WKRC SECRETARY wkrcsec@gmail.com to register the date and time of your session. Everyone who plans to enter the circuit is to complete the forms.

WIMMERA CLUB MEMBERS WHO WISH TO BECOME AN OFFICIAL
 

To assist any club members that are wanting to do Officials Academy online courses while the KA office is closed, please email the KV Secretary Pam Arnett at vka@bigpond.net.au and she will invite you into the courses to complete them;

 

Members will need to supply the following in the email:

    •    Name

    •    Club

    •    Email

    •    Address

    •    Contact number

    •    V Licence Number

If a member does not have a V kart licence (not a P licence) then they will need to supply a passport size photo in .jpeg format so that a licence card can be made with their credentials.

 

Members are to complete the 4 courses below.

    1    Karting Australia Officiating Basics

    2    Resolving and Avoiding Conflict

    3    Respect Karting

    4    CovidSafe Karting Events

 

Members MUST have a current WWC Card (Working with children) not a receipt. https://www.workingwithchildren.vic.gov.au/individuals/applicants/how-to-apply This is also to be included in your email to the KV state office Secretary Pam Arnett vka@bigpond.net.au. Members CANNOT act as an official until they have a current card by law.
